Like a chicken, I am cooped up in my house… Day after day after day, longing to be free-range. I busy myself with cat photographyand new designs for RSVP. Which will be chosen for Valentine’s Day 2017?? Stay tuned…
Sandwiched between Woodworking IIand tanning booths at Golden Tan in the Richfield Hub (Um, Off-Campus Study HalI),was a class called Printmaking. *Actual linocut carved while under Sr. Bernardine’s tutelage.
Maybe I should thank Sr. Bernardine (‘s grave) for opening my mind to all things print-related?
Inspired by that lil’ puppy:
Discovering Instacart might change my life. These modern services enable my dwindling desire to engage with the outside world.
IN JANUARY. IN MINNESOTA.
And why should I leave my house when Millie the Dog is learning to speak Human?
If only the shop were actually connected to my house.Just look at that commute! Ridiculous.
Or… inspiring? It must be inspiring because I made this.
Thank you, Religion News Service, for appreciating the ho-ho-Holiday-humdrum-hole-filling. And thank you, Dinah the Cat, for understanding the true meaning of Christmas. And you’re right, you should be in the new Christmas card.
**An Open Letter to Alexis Stewart:
Dear Alexis Stewart,
If you want to be friends with me, just ask. You don’t need to buy all of your Christmas and birthday AND Mother’s Day cards from me.
Whew! I’m glad I got that out of the way! Thanks to Mail Chimp, our email-blast campaign was full of success.
I’LL NEVER TELL!!!
Dinah always makes such a big deal about choosing paper and envelope color for a new release.
First, she has Jen print a card:
And then she does this:
She is such a taskmaster.
Hoohoo! I’m laughing already!
More for RSVP:
Does Jen hate letterpress printing SO much that I have to create and license all of the art and farm it off to art licensing companies??
The latest for RSVP:I know one thing for sure. ONE THING. Jen would really hate to print these multi-colored designs. She makes me live in a monochromatic world. But see how I defy?? FIVE colors??
And now they want more cards! FINE.I’m such a rebel.
Did I even see Jen on her birthday last week??
Hmm, I don’t think so… But I still made her a card because my love for her just bubbles over and soils the stovetop with a sort of gravy that becomes crusty and has to be scraped off months later with steel wool and maybe a knife.
That’s a lot of love!GET IT?!?! CAT-SUP???
Omg, it just doesn’t stop over here!
